ABOUT

Community involvement is a way to give back to the places we call home. Raising five children here in Coquitlam, Jennifer interacts with the school system on a daily basis and knows how valuable each resource is to our students and their families.  First elected to the School Board of SD43 Coquitlam in 2018 and then again in 2022, she also serves on the Finance and Audit Committee, as the Coquitlam School Board's representative to both Metro and Provincial Council, and as the co-chair of the Tri-Cities Children's Research Action Team.
JENNIFER'S GOALS
  • EARLY ACCESS TO ASSESSMENT AND SUPPORT
Volunteering in classrooms, I've seen that the research is right -  early intervention is the best, most cost-effective solution to learning difficulties.

  • CREATING SPACE IN SCHOOLS FOR DAYCARE
Families are challenged to find a safe, quality daycare space for their children.   Co-operating with the province and the school district can maximize this opportunity.
